No more rain, the winds are still going strong and then calm. A neighbor's tree lost a big limb but missed the house behind.

No boots, black Carhartt dungarees, Bootman T, black briefs, usual Dickies socks.

My birthday doth arrive!
Today my blog is five!
(Some say that it's nifty
that I'm turning sixty--
I'm just glad I'm alive.)

While originally contemplating this anniversary, I thought of it as, shudder, entering my seventh decade, and the third line of my poem was "Some say it's a pity."

I'm really trying to view this in a more positive way--just call me a sexagenarian!
