My birthday doth arrive!
Today my blog is five!
(Some say that it's nifty
that I'm turning sixty--
I'm just glad I'm alive.)

While originally contemplating this anniversary, I thought of it as, shudder, entering my seventh decade, and the third line of my poem was "Some say it's a pity."

I'm really trying to view this in a more positive way--just call me a sexagenarian!
