Friday: Absolutely Wonderful Summer Day


Black Durango farm and ranch cowboy boots, brown duck Guidegear dungarees, navy blue Carhartt shirt, white T, gray pouch briefs, usual Dickies socks.

Was wearing these boots on June 15 when I saw officers of the New York State Police. Did again today. Also several motorcycle cops in MA, nice work boots in PA, and some nice biker boots in NY.

Which dept. in MA were the motorcops from? Sounds like you're doing some heavy duty multistate travelling!

Medford. It was a funeral. What surprised me was that the boots were of varying height. Two were clearly barely over the calf. One was fairly close to the knee (hooray!). I couldn't really see two others. A nice start to a vacation!

Whoa, I'd think MA depts. would be a bit more rigid on their boot-height requirements; then again, I've sworn I saw troopers with varying heights, as well.
